Our special guest this month is actor Doug Jones! Doug has been working in Los Angeles since 1985 and has appeared in scores of films, television series, commercials and music videos, working with some today's foremost directors and producers. He has appeared in a number of high-profile roles, including The Silver Surfer in The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Abe Sapien in Hellboy I & II, both Pan and The Pale Man in Pan's Labyrinth, and more recently the Ice Cream Man in Legion. There are some fascinating roles coming up for him too. You won't want to miss him!

You'll also have the opportunity to get to know lots of people in our continuously growing community of creative artists!

This meeting is open to any and all artists and creative people and is free of charge. To attend, RSVPs will be accepted on a first come, first served basis by emailing greenhousearts@gmail.com. The 2010 City of the Angels Film Festival at the Directors Guild of America (DGA) seeks to highlight the hidden gems of world cinema. From March 12th through 14th, the festival will screen some of the best and most significant dramatic features and documentaries from the contemporary film scene.

Act One: Now Accepting Applications!

ACT ONE, an inter-denominational training program equipping writers, producers and entertainment executives of faith, is now accepting applications for the summer Writing for Film & Television Program and Producing & Entertainment Executive Program.

Courses are taught by industry professionals who literally step off studio lots to teach and range from 2 weeks to 18 months. Applications are due by April 1st.
